F-1 International Student Financial Statement International Students who are admitted into a degree program at Woodbury University must obtain a Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20) to enable them to obtain an F-1 Student Visa to enter and/or remain in the U.S. in legal F-1 student status. This requirement applies both to international students who are coming from abroad and F-1 students who are transferring from another U.S. institution. For Woodbury University to issue you a Form I-20 you must submit the following: 1. This form with Section One and Section Two both completed, including signatures from both you (the student) and your sponsor(s). . 2. A copy of your Passport name page and/or Visa picture page, if you are in the United States 3. Original bank statement(s), on bank letterhead, from you or your sponsor, issued no earlier than 6 months of the date you intend to begin your studies. Account balance(s) must be shown in an amount greater than or equal to the amounts listed in Section Two. Note: Bank statements must be for a checking, savings, or time deposit account. Brokerage (stock funds), real estate, or any other nonliquid assets are not acceptable. All bank statements must be in English and in U.S. dollar currency or its foreign equivalence. 4. If dependents will be accompanied, please provide a copy of each dependents passport (name) page, marriage certificate for you and your spouse in English and birth certificates for children in English.
