The Writers
 The work must have been written principally (minimum 50% share) by an elected APRA writer member
that is a resident or citizen of New Zealand, or that is principally domiciled in New Zealand.
The Work & Video
 The song must be an original work. It must not be an arrangement or adaptation of a traditional noncopyright work or any other original work.
 The video must have been first broadcast in New Zealand between 1st May 2014 and 30th April 2015.
Entries
The following will be required and must reach APRA AMCOS no later than Wednesday 3rd May:

General
a. Not more than two works may be submitted by or on behalf of any one writer. A separate entry
form is to be completed for each work.
b. The date and channel / website of the first broadcast of the nominated work must be notified.
c. Unless specifically requested, the copies of videos submitted shall be retained by APRA AMCOS.
d. The winner will be announced live on What Now on TV2 on Sunday 2nd August 2015.
e. APRA AMCOS has the right to print the name and likenesses of any entrant in publicity in respect of
the competition and all matters incidental thereto.
f. Final entry is at the absolute discretion of APRA AMCOS.
g. APRA AMCOS shall have the right to interpret the above conditions and to determine all issues
arising out of this contest. Any such interpretations and determinations shall be final.
h. The finalists are decided by a panel of judges convened by APRA AMCOS. The judges’ decision is final
and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
i. The winner is decided by online vote at www.whatnow.tv. The entrant agrees to allow What Now to
stream the work(s) entered on its website for the purposes of judging.
j. The award is in the form of a framed certificate.
k. The entrant shall (or shall cause the copyright owner of the entry if different from the entrant to)
permit APRA AMCOS and any person APRA AMCOS authorises to screen the entry in and as part of
any APRA AMCOS award ceremony and to record for those purposes.
l. The entrant agrees to allow APRA AMCOS to stream the work(s) entered on its website and
reproduce the music and lyrics for the purposes of judging.
m. The entrant confirms the information provided is true and correct; and agrees to be bound by the
conditions established in this entry form.
