PRO Grain Extractor Manufactured by Arc Alloy Welding (1984) Colonsay, Sask. S0K 0Z0 www.arcalloy.ca Owner’s Guide to Use 1610 Model Safety Warnings NOTE: Before operating extractor, familiarize yourself with all safety decals and their locations on the PRO Extractor. IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING Roller handle Roller handle is NOT detented DO NOT use bungee cord to hold handle Refer to our website www.arcalloy.ca for extractor video Set up Instructions Set up Extractor 1. Attach the tractor draw bar to the extractor hitch with 1 1/8” draw pin. Hook up safety chains. 2. Attach the PTO and make sure it is locked. 3. Connect hydraulic hoses. Lift extractor high enough to remove transport stop (Image 1) and replace with 3” stop (Image 2). 4. Lift the support leg (image 3) up and pin in temporary position (image 3A). Release the transport pin (image 4) that holds bag roller and swing roller into working position. 5. Replace the support leg and pin the bag roller in place (image 5). 6. Pivot the bag knife (image 6) from the storage position to the operating position shown in (image 7). Pin in place. 7. Raise the top of the auger into working position. To begin make a horizontal cut just before the grain in the loose part of the bag. Then cut towards the tractor from the horizontal cut splitting the bag down the center. Do not cut the part of the bag that is under tension. See dwg 1 2. Back extractor up to the end of the bag with the bag between the wheels and cross augers are inside the bag. The main auger should go into the cut in the top of the bag. 3. Make sure the roller is stationary and hooks are toward the bag. Starting from the center of the bag, hook the bag onto the roller. Ensure all personnel are well clear of the roller. Rotate the roller one or more turns until bag is completely wrapped around the roller. 4. Lower the extractor on to 3” stop (image 2). The cross auger should be approximately 3” off the ground. dwg 1 Image 2 Extracting the grain 1 Roll up the bag until cross augers are into the grain. The cutting knife should line up with the cut in the top of the bag. 2 Ensure the unloading auger is lifted into position and the grain truck/cart is in position ready to load. After first making sure the tractor is in neutral, slowly engage the PTO. Once augers are engaged start the bag roller, adjust roller speed so cross augers stay full of grain. 3 PTO speed can be increased to 540 once grain is flowing. Removing the bag from the Extractor 1 To remove the bag from the roller, raise the extractor into transport position. Rotate the handles on the roller drive plate until they disengage. See image 12 2 Slowly drive the tractor and extractor forward until the bag is fully unrolled. Image 12 Notes: Raise and lower upper auger at least three times to pump hydraulic cylinder. 1 7 13 10 2 13 12 4&8 6 10 13 3 & 8 9 11 Parts list—see following pages for part numbers and descriptions Extractor Parts list # 1 Main Drive Part # SA208-24 F208 8820L PWL 80BB12H3/4NTL H80 1 rl H80cl & H80os 242 26726-35R Description 208-24 bearing locking collar 1 1/2" 208-4-bolt flange sprocket #80 x 20 tooth Idler sprocket # 80 #80 heavy chain #H80 connector & off set link Large PTO # 2 Main drive line SA208-24 F208 5018 1 1/2" NTL 5018 1 3/8" NTL 5018 2 rl chain 208-24 bearing locking collar 1 1/2" 208-2-bolt flange Sprocket 50 x 18 tooth Sprocket 50 x 18 tooth Double roller chain #50 # 3 Lower Auger Drive ST4190-11L ST4190-11T 5018 1 1/2" 5018 1 3/8" 5018 2rl chain 50cl & 50os ZEL059 ZEL060 90* gear box "T" gear box Sprocket 50 x 18 tooth sprocket 50 x 17 tooth Double roller chain #50 50 connector & off set link 1 1/2" x 25 1/4" shaft 1 1/2" x 22 5/8" shaft # 4 Cross Auger Drive 3500 Series or 8 series 903-10355 PTO 1 3/8" -6 spline pump adapter # 5 Lower auger flighting drive Part # H80Q23 Q1 2 H80P14 P 1 1/2 2" UHMW rod H80 Chain UCHA210-200D1LLJ F210D SA208-24 F208 Description #80 Q 23 tooth sprocket 2" dia taper lock type hub #80P14 tooth sprocket Taper lock type hub 2" nylon chain tightner #80 chain 40" long Bearing special - NTN triple seal Flange 210D ductile Bearing 208-24 lock collar F208 flange 4 bolt Part # Description # 6 Main auger hangar bearing KML-UCHA 210-32 Bearing with hangar type flange # 7 Main auger top bearing SA207-20 F207 # 8 Cross auger drive SA207-20 PF207 60B25HF 1 1/4" 60B15HF 1 1/4" 60 1 rl chain 29" 207-20 bearing 1 1/4" 207- 4 bolt flange RH 9" x 9" x 1-7/8 x 3/16 LH9" x 9" x 1-7/8 x 3/16 207-20 bearing 1 1/4 207 flangettes for 2" bearing #60 - 25 tooth sprocket #60 - 15 tooth sprocket #60 chain 1/4" x 2" roll pin Right hand flighting 5' long Left hand flighting 5' long # 9 Cross auger bearing SA206-20 FL206 206-20 (1 1/4") bearing 206 - 2 bolt flange # 10 Roller drive & bearings SA210-32 F210D SPE3499 Q1 2 NTL 210 - 32 bearing 2" 210 - 4 bolt flange ductile Split taper bushing # 11 Roller Chain Drive H50B13F 1" kw2SS #50 1 rl chain 50" 50B70F H50B15F 1 1/2" kw 2SS #50 1 rl chain 61" H60B13F 1 1/2" kw 2ss 60B96X2PB-brg 2" #60 1 rl chain 90 3/4" #60 cl & #60 os S210-A113 HA220-1 50B13 1" hole #50 reg chain 50B70 1 1/2" hole 50B15 1 1/2" hole #50 reg chain 60B13 1 1/2" hole 60B96 2" hole #60 reg chain #60 connector & off set link Spindle Hub and caps # 12 Axle Part # 42655UC1 R50642 ST235-80/R16 Description Hub #42 Spindle Tires # 13 Misc Q45-4E-FISN F1020-S BMR50-H4CS 40AGU08-10HYS 25 AGU24-10 F52-140080 S1018D S1018J 2" x 5' strap c/w hook 4 Bank valve Flow control Motor 4X8 Cylinder 2 1/2 X 24 Cylinder 8K topwind dropleg jack 1/2" plug 1 1/4" plug Roller straps # 14 Hoses T2SN6C20FJ90CFJC T2SN6C118FJCFJ45C T2SN6C124FJCFJ45C T2SN6C110FJCFJC T2SN6C82FJCFJC T2SN8C240MPDFJ90D T2SN6C48FJCFJC 20" Hose 118" Hose 124" Hose 110" Hose 82" Hose 240" Hose 48" Hose Lower & upper auger flighting 14OD x 14 pitchx 3 1/2ID x 1/4 ga Flighting Length 74" lower Roller drive cover 44-09602 44-09802 Adjustable cover center latch 6.4" Striker for 44-09602
