5/11/2015 POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT 1072 TITLE: DEPARTMENT: REPORTS TO: HOURS: SALARY RANGE: FLSA STATUS: CAMP ASSISTANT UNIVERSITY EXTENDED EDUCATION ART CAMP DIRECTOR TEMPORARY FULL-TIME $11.00 - $14.00/PER HOUR NON-EXEMPT POSITION SUMMARY: CSUF Extended Education is seeking camp and teaching assistants to assist the Art Camp Director and instructional staff, in providing a quality arts program for children 7-14 years of age. Summer Art Camp is held on the CSUF campus from July 6-July 31, 9am -4pm daily and is an opportunity to work with children in a creative environment as well as to help teachers prepare and facilitate art in a classroom setting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Camp/teaching assistants are responsible for assigned groups of children on a daily basis and must chaperone the children at all times during the camper’s day. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Camp/Teaching Assistants must have experience working with and being responsible for children and show enthusiasm in following detailed directions on a daily basis.
