Greetings from ASPE! We are looking forward to seeing you at the 2015 APSE Spring Topical Meeting on Achieving Precision Tolerances in Additive Manufacturing on the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina on April 26-29, 2015. Below is some important information regarding logistics that will help you when arriving at NCSU. Arriving to the NCSU Centennial Campus, the James B. Hunt, Jr. Library and Engineering Building III • The main entrance to the NCSU Centennial Campus is on Avent Ferry Road. The entrance to campus is clearly marked. • Turn onto Varsity Drive off of Avent Ferry Road. Continue on Varsity Drive until you reach the first intersection, a 4-way stop. • Turn left onto Main Campus Drive. Continue on Main Campus Drive for 0.3 mile. • Turn right onto Partner’s Way. The Hunt Library is 0.5 mile on the left. The address is 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC 27606. • There are 4 parking decks located on Partner’s Way. • The first parking deck is an hourly lot, which you can use by inserting your credit card into the machine. The machine will keep your credit card information in memory. When you leave the lot, you will insert the same credit card into the machine and it will charge your credit card and give you a receipt. The daily rate is higher in this lot. • The second parking deck is an NCSU lot, requiring a “C” permit, which you can purchase for $5. This is good for one day. See below for instructions on how to obtain a parking pass. • The third parking deck is for monthly renters, which you cannot use. • The fourth parking deck is an NCSU lot, requiring a “C” permit, which you can purchase for $5. This is good for one day. This is the deck that is closest to the Hunt Library and Engineering Building III. See below for instructions on how to obtain a parking pass. Parking on the NCSU Centennial Campus If you are participating in a tutorial and/or attending the reception on Sunday, April 26, you will NOT need a parking permit to park on campus. Park in the second parking deck or the fourth parking deck. You will need to pay to park on Centennial Campus on Monday through Wednesday, April 27-29. You can use the hourly Parking Deck (parking deck number one above) or you can purchase a “C” parking permit. To purchase a “C” parking permit for the number of days you will be attending, visit the Visitor’s Booth on Varsity Drive as you enter Centennial Campus. Tell the attendant that you are attending a meeting at the Hunt Library, and that you need a “C” permit. She will issue you a “C” permit for the number of days you are attending the meeting. This permit is valid in the two “Permit C” parking decks mentioned above. You will have to have a CREDIT CARD to purchase the permit (no cash). The daily rate is $5. The Visitor’s Booth opens at 7:00 AM. Accessing the Hunt Library The Hunt Library will unlock its doors at 7:30 AM. You will NOT be able to access the library before that time. ASPE’s registration desk and the auditorium are at the main entrance to the library. A light continental breakfast will be available on all three days starting at 7:30 AM. A lunch will be available on Monday and Tuesday of the conference. For Wednesday, you can enjoy lunch on-your-own at the nearby Oval, Centennial Campus’ food commons area.
