THROUGH JULY 8, 2015 A series of five films focused on portraits of individuals in the artist’s community. HIGH LINE COMMISSIONS RASHID JOHNSON Blocks High Line Art is presented by Friends of the High Line and the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. Founded in 2009, High Line Art presents a wide array of artwork including site-specific commissions, exhibitions, performances, video programs, and a series of billboard interventions. High Line Art, which is curated by Cecilia Alemani, the Donald R. Mullen, Jr. Director & Chief Curator of High Line Art, invites artists to think of creative ways to engage with the uniqueness of the architecture, history, and design of the High Line and to foster a productive dialogue with the surrounding neighborhood and urban landscape. THROUGH MARCH 2016 A steel sculpture which houses a variety of objects and interacts with the surrounding plant life. KERRY JAMES MARSHALL Above the Line THROUGH MAY 2016 A large-scale, hand-painted mural of a futuristic city. Thirteen abstract sculptures punctuate the wild, self-seeded landscape of the High Line at the Rail Yards. *Open daily from 7:00 AM to sunset. Panorama is supported, in part, by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts. An installation of colored glass inspired by a 700-minute journey along the Hudson River. The collectivity project, part of the group exhibition Panorama, is made possible, in part, by a generous donation of LEGO® bricks from the LEGO Group. DAMIÁN ORTEGA Physical Graffiti #1 – 3 A series of sculptures in the shape of graffiti tags modeled on found tags and bent out of rebar.
