Caplet is worked in the round, from the top down, permitting the length to be easily
adjusted.

GAUGE: 8 sts and 11 rounds = 4” in stocking stitch in the round
METHOD: Note: Caplet is worn inside out, with knit side to the inside.
Neck: Using shorter circular needle, loosely cast on 24 (28, 32) sts. Place marker &
join for working in the round, being careful not to twist.
Round 1: Purl.
Round 2: Knit.
Repeat Rounds 1 & 2 once, and work Round 1 one more time.
Knit even in rounds until piece measures 2” from cast-on edge.
Inc round 1: (K1, kfb) to end. 36 (42, 48) sts.
Knit even in rounds until piece measures 4” from cast-on edge.
Increase round 2: (K1, kfb) to end. 54 (63, 72) sts.
Change to longer circular needle & knit even in rounds until piece meas 8” from
cast-on edge.
Inc round 3: (K1, kfb) until 0 (1, 0) st rem, k0 (1, 0). 81 (94, 108) sts.
Knit even in rounds until piece meas 17 (18, 19)” from cast-on edge, or desired
length.
Cast off loosely.
