Experience in handling automated peptide synthesizer and skills in peptide
purification/characterization techniques would be preferred.

Should be well versed with synthetic peptide chemistry, with expertise in the synthesis
of long chain, branched, labelled, disulphide lactam and head to tail cyclized peptides.

Should have thorough scientific/technical expertise to independently carry out HPLC
Purification, solid phase peptide synthesis and characterization of peptides using HPLC
& LCMS.

Should be able to plan and execute day to day operations in peptide synthesis lab
which includes identification of synthetic routes for conformationally constrained
peptides and derivatised peptides.

Based on the experience should lead and mentor peers & reportees towards synthesis
and characterization of peptides.

Should be able to prepare protocols, guidelines, SOPs for lab equipment/instruments
and processes.

Should have a reasonable understanding of systems and process pertaining to safety,
health and environment.
