¹Operational fees: Landing, parking etc over the nominated amount are payable in full. E.g. Essendon $48.00
²Training Rate: Includes Dispatch, fuel, & operational fees up to nominated amount. Cycles are additional.
³Dispatch YMMB: Includes engine ground time, cleaning, ground handling, refuelling & oil requirements, fly-away kit, use of FBO,
two lifejackets, 1 x N/C headset.
⁴Cycle: Is a landing or touch & go. An unsealed runway takeoff, landing or touch & go incurs 3 x the Cycle fee. Eg. A touch & go on
an unsealed runway is 3 x 1 Cycle.
⁵Base Rent per hour: Asset rental/capital charge. Similar to Avis, Hertz etc charge per hour/day. The greater of Engine Time
(HOBBS) or Shutdown YMMB minus Startup YMMB. For rentals it is the booked period if longer.
⁶Base Rental per day: If taking the aircraft for a weekend, the weekend rate starts at 3pm Friday and finishes 9am Monday. This is
2 days of rental. A long weekend starts and finishes at the same start and finish times and is charged at 3 days.
⁷Fuel is accounted per USG or part thereof. I.e. 13.3 USG is charged as 14 USG. Fuel away from YMMB may be purchased on Avia
supplied carnet. Receipt/photo MUST be supplied or a 5% handling fee will apply. Aircraft returning YMMB with more fuel than
on departure will become a future fuel credit. For Liberty XL-2, fuel purchased away is reimbursed at the Avia YMMB rate with the
difference payable.
Instrument Approaches in CTA $20, Avalon $40.
TKS De-Icing fluid $55/USG. Portable Oxygen $50/day plus $10 per 100 psi used (own cannulas required).
Additional headsets are available, for hire, for $10 each and lifejackets for $5 each.
Aircraft returning after the scheduled return time will be charged thereafter at double the Base Rental Per Hour rate
Cancellation fees will be charged if the client cancels within 24 hours or the client does not show up for reasons other than
operational and other uncontrollable circumstances. Cancellation rate is 50% of the expected Base Hourly/Daily rate.
Recency and minimum experience requirements apply. Pilots must be authorized by an AVIA instructor on each aircraft type.
SR20. Pilots must have completed the Cirrus Transition and CAPS courses. Must have 90 day currency.
SR22. Pilots must have completed the Cirrus Transition and CAPS courses. Must have 90 day currency. Min 200 hrs experience
if holder of current IFR rating, otherwise 250 hours.
Terms: full payment is required on return. For overnight rentals advance payment may be required.
Insurance: for Cirrus aircraft the insurance excess is $5,500. The Hirer is liable for damage up to this amount.
