Wish Kids, went on Wish trips to Disney World,
where they enjoyed a special week at Give
Kids the World Village with help from the
Something mAAgic Foundation.
Sweet Jamia enjoyed a
“stay-cation” at Great
Wolf Lodge with her
family, and then went
on an exciting shopping
spree at Grapevine
Mills Mall, where she
shopped for all of her
favorite things!
Alex met his idol, WWE
wrestler John Cena,
who has inspired him to
“Never Give Up!” and
then cheered him on
during his match in
ring-side seats.

families enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt, face
painting and other Easter activities. Each
child also received a special Easter Basket
provided by the generous employees of

Butterfly & Boots was the theme of the 2013 Butterfly Wishes luncheon featuring 8 amazing Wish kids and their heroes! Wish kids and guests were welcomed by Honorary Event Chair Mayor Betsy Price. Butterfly Wishes is a
Wish with Wings signature event, held each year in the spring.

Rachel is the Wish Coordinator whose responsibility is
to make sure each and every Wish is as Magical and
perfect as possible! With a
degree in Child Development, specializing in Child
Life, she works closely with
our Wish families, child life
specialists, hospice and other providers.
Lesley is the “voice” of a
Wish with Wings, cheerfully greeting each person as
they call or visit. Lesley
handles the day-to-day
administration of the Wish
House, as well as coordinating event and volunteer
services. Drop by for a
visit sometime and experience her enthusiastic
