Objectives





To represent current condition of ASEAN transportation.
To discover how transportation affected the social-cultures, economic and education of
ASEAN’s citizen.
To provide a chance to share or exchange ideas and opinions between high school and
college student in Southeast Asia nations.
To improve skill in analyzing, evaluating, discussing, and appreciating the development
of “indie creative network” in Southeast Asia.
To develop creativity, innovation, technical and analytical skill in documentary film area.

DOCUMENTARY FILM’S CRITERIA :

Documentary film must contain the competition theme implicitly or explicitly
The submitted film must not contain pornography, actions against current law, and
offending ethnicity, religion, race, and social groups.
The submitted film is an original documentary film created by participant and had not
published yet.
The production year is between 2011 until 2015.
The language used could be in local languages (with English subtitle)
The maximum duration of the film is 20 minutes, including the title and credits.
Background song/music and other materials (photos, graphics, etc) that are used in film
may use other person’s belonging, but only with special permission from the owner, or
attach the references/owner (in Youtube’s decription box).

The participant is high school or college students in Southeast Asia nations.
The competition partcipant must be a team contain 2 to 5 members each team.
The committee from ASEAN Youth Collaboration Festival and ASEAN Creative
Competition 2015 is prohibited to join this competition.
Participants must register and complete the required documents for the competition
The participants must pay for registration fee.
Every participant are allowed to submit more than one creation, with registration fee for
each film.
Film must be uploaded into YouTube as unlisted video.
The participant must send synopsis for each submitted film. The synopsis is attached
into description of the film, which is no more than 350 words.
The participant must submit YouTube link address into the submission page

Every member of the team must subscribe Vivat Press account.
Participants must be comply with existing regulations
HOW TO JOIN

The participant must register their team in aycf.its.ac.id/asean-creative-competition
After entering the email, There will be verification email sent into participant’s email
Log in using the password attache in the verification email
Participants have to download and fill out the registration document
A team may submit maximum 2 works with the registration fee depend on how many
work being sent
The documentary film must be uploaded in YouTube with title “ASEAN Youth
Collaboration Festival : Movie Title”

The participant must fill the online form and submit the registration form with format

PAYMENT PROCEDURES
The registration fee for participant from Indonesia is IDR 300.000,00 for each film, and $40
for other countries.

SELECTION PROCEDURE




The committees will select every submitted films
The participants that selected from five best films will be contacted before by personal
contact or Twitter.
Awarding of the winners will be conducted in ASEAN Camping Ground.
There are two process of selecting the best films, as in :





a. By the number of viewers from YouTube’s account.
b. By selection/ judgment process from main juries of ASEAN Creative Film
Documentary Competition. The main juries are Eagle Institute, National
Geographic Traveler, and professional director.
Winner is the participant which have highest points accumulation form all judgment
aspect
The copyright remains participant’s own, but the committee is allowed to use photos
and/or videos by participants for event publication.
The committee is not responsible if there will be third-party claims related to submitted
films for plagiarism act without the owner’s permission.
If the committee found irregularities that the winner of doubtful authenticity, the
committee reserves the right to cancel and get back the awards and the prize that has
been given
The judge's and the committee decision is final and inviolable
GRAND PRIZE
Announcement of winners (5 Best Team) will be held in May 2015 and the participants of
the six best teams must send two (2) representatives for the team to follow the ASEAN
Camping Ground to join awarding night at the summit of ASEAN Youth Festival 2015
Collaboration.
The winner information will be published in May 2015 via BEM ITS social media (Facebook,
Twitter, and Instagram) and on the website AYCF 2015
ASEAN International Documentary Film Competition 2015 will be awarded to the list:
• The Best Film will receive a certificate + $ 500 Free ticket to join ASEAN Camping Ground
• Favorite will receive a certificate + cash $ 250 + Free ticket to join ASEAN Camping Ground
• Finalists 1 will receive a certificate + $ 100 + Free ticket to join ASEAN Camping Ground
• Finalists 2 will receive a certificate + $ 100 + Free ticket to join ASEAN Camping Ground
• Finalists 3 will receive a certificate + $ 100 + Free ticket to join ASEAN Camping Ground
All films of the winners will be showed at the summit of ASEAN Youth Collaboration Festival
2015 and will be published by institutions and official partner of ASEAN International
Documentary Film Competition 2015.
