Hartlip Open Gardens Hartlip, Kent Sunday 7th June 2015 11am to 5.00pm A variety of gardens will be opening including wildlife, paddock, walled, formal and informal, large country house and small cottage as well as many others. All nine gardens are within walking distance of the Church located in the centre of the picturesque Village. Many of the properties in the village are of architectural interest, several dating from the 1400’s. The Village School garden, Methodist Chapel garden and allotment gardens will also be open to explore. A plant Sale will take place on the School Lawn. Raffle tickets will also be sold for one main prize. In addition to the plant sales, artist Pauline Findlay will be present at Woodpecker House displaying her contemporary original outdoor fused glass designs, available to purchase on the day. Refreshments will be available throughout the day: From 11am, Tea, coffee and cake in the tranquil surroundings of the Village Church and Ploughman’s lunches in the Methodist Chapel from 12pm. Our Village Pub, the Rose and Crown will also be open for lunches from 12 noon. All proceeds to St. Michael and All Angels Church.
