(2-ply) weave,, creating a solid wall, with the same
weaving pattern inside and outside, but different color
patterns inside and out. All ends are completely hidden.
Starting on an oak round or square slotted base allows

weave on a round slotted base. Some color choice is
available. New weavers may end up with a shorter
basket but all will stop in time to learn the rolled

one direction that allows for the diamond design to step
out and up into the sides of the basket. With a little
imagination you can see the wings of the moth in the
base of the basket. In the ethereal pale green-blue tone,
this design is slightly different than the other Luna Moth
baskets/mats in this series. It appears as filigree and
more circular even though the same twill numbers are
used in all the baskets/mats.
