ABOUT GRACE RACE
Grace Race is designed to be a fun event with something for everyone. There are three
elements to the morning’s activities:

Family Fun Run (Once around the track for kids of all ages) 5K Race (Officially timed)
Fitness Challenge (Team Challenge, Individual Challenge)
This year’s event will be held at Copley High School, an appreciated partnership which gives this event a community focus as
well as providing a safe and spacious venue for all participating.
BENEFITS FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN
Net proceeds from Grace Race will benefit Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a non-profit Christian organization
committed to feeding God’s children, hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals
specifically formulated for malnourished children, and those meals are shipped to nearly 70 countries around the world.
Grace Church has joined forces with FMSC for the past four years to help fight world hunger. We especially love this
organization not only for its central mission of supplying a basic, essential need but also for the intelligent way they go
about doing so. A single meal costs only 22 cents to produce, and 92 percent of total donations go directly toward the food
program. The packing system or MobilePack events are an efficient and fun way for volunteers to be hands-on in making a
difference.
The most recent FMSC MobilePack hosted by Grace Church (October 2014) had over 1,000 volunteers who packed 334,368
meals. That equates to feeding 917 children for a year!!

ABOUT SPONSORSHIP
• There are five levels of sponsorship, each with increasing value of advertisement for your
organization.
• Sponsorship can be monetary or in the form of ‘gifts in kind’.
• Grace Church is a 501(c)(3) organization. A charitable contribution receipt will be sent out to
all donors within one month after the event.
• No amount of sponsorship is too small (or too large).
• Donations in the form of non-monetary services or goods will be gladly accepted to be used

Grace Church has been in existence for 15 years at the Bath location. We strive to be difference-makers in our church, our community and our world, (by Knowing It, Living It, and Giving It Away. It being the story of Jesus). There are 4 services every weekend with an average attendance of 2,200 people.
Our congregation is comprised of all ages, with the average being 24 years old.
We are a T-shirt culture! (If your name appears on our T-shirt, you will get wide-spread notice)
Grace Race is an annual event (since 2011) and held every Memorial Day
Last year, Grace Race had over 400 runners compete in the 5K and we raised $10,149 for Feed My Starving Children.

• Grace Church has hosted 4 MobilePack events over the past 5 years. • We have packed in excess of 1.5 million meals to be shipped across the world to help feed the hungry
• While serving on mission through Grace Church, some of our people have witnessed the distribution of the Manna Packs sent by FMSC
