of our outdoor school activities, which
are an essential part of a child’s overall
development.
A number of security measures had to be
taken to ensure safety and security of
your children. I am glad to state that
most of the parents cooperated with us
fully in complying with the revised
administrative arrangements. However, I
have to regretfully admit that a few of
the parents behaviour in this regard was
not appropriate. Parents need to
understand that these changes were
necessitated by the security concerns
and were for the safety of everyone.
Our children, obviously missed the extra

Annual Sports Day
The Annual Sports Day was held on
5th March 2015 at the Moin Khan
Academy. This, as usual, was a fun filled
event with races for everyone including
our parents and siblings. The victorious
house this year again was Eminent,
followed by Paramount and Cardinal.

The whole event was a challenging task,
but with the tight teamwork of our PE
teachers, Mr. Mohammad Imran Khan
and Mr. Terence D’souza, admin support
staff and maintenance team, we were
able to do it without any problems.
Special thanks for handling logistics goes
to Mr. Shoaib Moosa and Mr. Arsalan
Ahmed, who worked tirelessly round the
clock to ensure that everything was in
place.
Kangaroo Competitions
English and Mathematics
This year our school participated in the
Kangaroo Linguistic competition for the
first time on 10th December 2014. We
received the results in March 2015.
Last but not the least, special thanks to
our Art teachers, Ms. Samar Fahad and
Ms. Komal Suleiman, for the wonderful
ambience.
A small ceremony was held in the
assembly to honour the following Gold
Medalists, who attained 100 % in the
competition. Well done!

The Mathematics Competition was held on
19th March 2015. Altogether there were
49 students from Grades IV and V, who
took part. It was a 3 hour competition
which was very challenging.
We are still awaiting the results !
The Morning Assembly Presentation was spread
over three days. It was a very exciting and fun
filled event. The students were superb on
stage. They displayed such confidence, poise
and eloquence in all their acts. We are very
proud of you boys and girls!
We’re equally proud of our teachers, whose
enthusiasm, dedication and creativity made the
event possible.
Special thanks to the parents who are always
there to support us with costumes.
