airline credit vouchers Carey is NOT able to book your flight. You must do so on your own.
 $150 per person deposit is due at time of booking. Deposit is non refundable unless insurance is
purchased.
 Airfare must be paid in full at the time of booking your flights.

When should I book? As soon as possible. Rooms & rates will expire when the group gets filled or on the
booking deadline of January 23, 2015, whichever comes first.

Deposit policy: In order to guarantee your room Beach Bum Vacation requires minimum of a $150 per
person down (plus insurance if elected). The deposit money will be applied to your final balance.
AIRFARE will be due at the time you are ready to add it to your package. Beach Bum Vacation insurance
policy will cover your airfare 100% if booked through Beach Bum. If airfare is booked elsewhere, the
insurance offered by Beach Bum will NOT cover your flights.
DEPOSIT OPTIONS:
1) Room Only: It's just $150 per person to book just the room. If we add airfare later – the total air
amount will be due once added.
2) Room & Insurance: It is just $150 per person plus cost of insurance – that is $104-$144 additional
per adult; $30-50 per child under 12.
3) Room, Air, No Insurance: It is $150 per person plus total air cost.
4) Room, Air & Insurance: It is just $150 per person, plus cost of insurance & airfare.
After down payment is made the final balance is due no later than February 6, 2015.

What travel documents will I need? You will need a valid passport in order to travel to Mexico, no
exceptions, even for infants & children. You must have a passport BOOK, as passport cards are not valid
for air travel to Mexico. Passports must be valid for 6 months past your return date. Passport info is

You will need to indicate on the form if you accept or deny TRIP INSURANCE.
PLEASE NOTE: Insurance CANNOT be added once down payment is made. Insurance is due at the time of
making the reservation online. Optional Insurance ranges from $104 per person to $144 per person
(depending upon total trip cost), $25 to $50 for children ages 2-12. This plan protects against
cancellation penalties if the trip is cancelled for any reason prior to departure. It also covers up to $100
per person for trip interruption, up to $800 per person for baggage loss, and up to $5,000 per person for
medical expenses.
Special Needs: Please specify if anyone in your party meets any of the following criteria: (1) holds
frequent flyer miles (2) is hearing or vision impaired (3) is a vegetarian or has other specific dietary
needs (4) needs a wheelchair (5) is diabetic (6) has severe allergies.
Airline cancellation policy: depending on the airline & time of cancellation will depend on the
cancellation fees so we suggest purchasing insurance.

Optional Cancel for Any Reason Travel Insurance covers these penalties. If you decline optional
insurance – natural disasters (such as hurricanes), cancellations for ANY reason (medical/personal
emergencies, cancellation of the wedding, etc.) do not relieve them from these penalties. Cancel for ANY
Reason Travel Insurance is available to all guests and if anyone with the insurance should have to cancel,
he/she will receive a 100% refund of all funds paid to Beach Bum Vacation, less the cost of the insurance
itself. Any travel components not purchased with Beach Bum Vacation are NOT covered by this insurance
policy.
Frequently Asked Questions:
-Currency: US Dollars are accepted in Mexico so there is no need to exchange your currency.
-Clothing: some restaurants require men to wear long pants, shirt with collar & closed toe shoes.
-Airport: you must arrive at the airport two hours prior to flight departure time.
- Weather: the month of May is not hurricane season. Average high temp is 85 degrees; average low is
75. We strongly recommend purchasing the travel insurance nevertheless.
-Passport: go to your local post office and request passport forms, instructions will be provided. It takes
approx 2-3 weeks for processing. Cost is approximately $135. Passport info is available here:

-Frequent Flyer: in the event you would like to use your frequent flyer miles you will need to contact the
airline directly but make sure you email Carey at Beach Bum Vacation your flight itinerary so she may
arrange for your airport transportation to & from the resort.
-Hidden Fees: Phone calls, Gift Shop, Spa, Tours & Excursions & motorized water sports are not
included. Certain high end wines & champagnes carry a surcharge. The resort staff (bellboys, spa
therapists, bartenders, maids, etc) do appreciate tips but it is not required.
