Bear Flat Artists
While centred on Poet’s Corner, the trail spreads across the whole area of Bear Flat with
refreshments available in both pubs, The Bear Pad Café, at Fine Line Art Group and cold
refreshments available at Venues 4 and 5 too. Some venues are organising demonstrations (see
individual listings for details).
As most venues are in private houses, some may involve uneven surfaces, steps or staircases and
may not be suitable for wheelchairs or disabled access. Please phone individual venues for more

Bear Flat Artists welcome you once more to their annual Open Studio Art Trail. Most works
on display are for sale, but please be aware that while we can accept cheques and cash, it
is unlikely that we will have the facilities to accept credit or debit cards.
Bear Flat is a short walk up the hill from the city centre. Or you can catch the No. 13 bus
from outside the bus station or the No 14 bus from Bay 14 within. There is easy parking
on Bear Flat and all the venues are in easy walking distance of each other.
Bear Flat Artists is a member of Bath Open Studios. The purpose of
BOS being to promote the awareness of art trails and establish them
as a legitimate outlet for the presentation and selling of fine and
applied art.
