At Befriend, we’re includers. We live by that thing your Mum always told you; treat others how you’d
like to be treated. We believe fostering a culture of inclusion can bring everyone together - and that’s
what we’re creating.

We think it’s important to embrace diversity in social circles. All we ask is that you treat others how
you would expect to be treated.
The Befriend Social Network has something for everyone. We aim to host a range of different social
gatherings and events so you can connect with people with similar interests.
There’s food discovery adventures for the foodies, social sports for the players, shows and quiz nights
for the entertainers and relaxed afternoons and BBQs for the dreamers.

Anyone can join and anyone can host events! Each month a new schedule of events will be posted.
Please be sure to RSVP! We also organise a few larger events for all members, friends and family. Drop
us a line if you’d like to host your own event; we’ll help get you started.
For those not so tech-savvy, you can also check out our eFriends program. eFriends is fun and
creative technology training that builds your confidence and skills connecting with others online.

Our role is to be practical; to facilitate, organize and foster inclusive environments, where connections
form on their own. We hope that you’ll connect with people through Befriend, leading to lasting
friendships. Asking someone for their contact details to catch up again can be scary...but the worst
they can say is no. Maybe you’ll catch them again at another Befriend event to get to know them a bit
better!
Always take care when meeting new people you don’t know much about – you all know about stranger
danger. Be sure to protect yourself and your personal information. We don’t want to scare you, it’s
just better to be safe than sorry! We welcome your feedback, so we can continue to strive to achieve the best results for you. If you ever have any questions,
