The units are made up in the elective area. 3 Students that need more units to complete the major-minor because of their language placement must take additional courses in the corresponding language, or MDLL 3400, 4400, or FNLT 4200 (provided it is related to language concentration). If additional classes are not available in the MDLL Department, students may fulfill those credits with courses in the appropriate cultural studies areas (e.g., ASPA, EURO, HMNT) in consultation with the corresponding language advisor and the Department Chair.
