InsideNews Illinois Farm Bureau® October 11, 2012 Family of Companies EMPLOYEE SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES Christmas with Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show Sat., Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m. Frank, Dean, Joey, and Sammy are back! And this time they’re bringing some holiday cheer along with their Vegasstyle show! It’s a ring-a-ding trip back to the swinging era of Vegas in the 60s when the Rat Pack tore up the joint on-and off-stage. Ticket prices are $29 and in zone 1 (floor) at the Bloomington Center for Performing Arts. Reservation deadline is Fri., Nov. 2. Noises Off – Fri., Nov. 9, 7:30 p.m. This 2001 update of Michael Frayn's, Noises Off farce provides a backstage look at the production of a sexy, silly English comedy called “Nothing On.” In each of the play’s three acts we see the staging of Act One of “Nothing On” – first during a flub-filled dress rehearsal, then six months later as the cast’s romantic relationships (and nosebleeds) wreak havoc with a matinee performance, and finally toward the end of the show’s run, when everybody is just ready to be done with it. Stuttering actors, missed cues, balky props (including platefuls of sardines), hidden whiskey bottles, a love triangle and a temperamental director – what else could go wrong? Ticket prices are $12 at Illinois State University’s Center for the Performing Arts. Reservation deadline is Fri., Nov. 2. Mickey’s Music Festival – LIVE! Fri., Nov. 23, 1:00 p.m. OR 4:00 p.m. Mickey Mouse and friends rock the world with the stars from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story in their new touring show Disney Live! The irresistible lineup of performers, including Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy; Ariel, Sebastian and Ursula; Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie; and Woody, Buzz and Jessie; are among the more than 25 Disney stars featured in this jam session fit for the entire family! You can’t resist dancing, singing, playing your air-guitar and laughing with this band of characters! Come join them at Disney Live!
