The aluminum hood features the traditional hood scoop which has been lowered and widened for better intake efficiency and driver visibility. A six-speed manual transmission with Viscous LSD centre differential is now standard. Available is an optional Sport Lineartronic® transmission with paddle shifters and SI-Drive. The 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a Dark Gunmetal finish have an aerodynamic design that helps to improve fuel economy. Along with bigger brakes, the bolt pattern is now 114.3 mm, matching the WRX STI, which increases rigidity and improves handling stability. The instrument cluster features a dual gauge layout with 3.5-inch full-color LCD display in a clean unobstructed package of high performance and multi-function.
