We ask that you live in Berkeley in order to register for Summer Reading.
Children and teens staying in Berkeley temporarily for summer break
are welcome to sign up, but are not eligible for any grand prize
drawings.
Logging in books:
Adults and teens can fill out one half sheet for each of the six books
they read during the program duration and turn them in to the
circulation desk at any time.
Kids (K-7) will have a book log sheet that remains at the library. Books
can be logged in any time, but weekly prizes will only be awarded
starting on the Monday for each week. (Example: Week 2 is June 22
through June 27. Week 2 prizes can only be collected after June 22.)

To be included in the grand prize drawings, participating readers in all
age groups must complete all 8 weeks of reading. Grand prizes are
limited to Berkeley residents only.
