I am a highly experienced and qualified health & safety, employment law and quality assurance practitioner.
Operating through my own business for the last thirty years, I have successfully worked with a broad portfolio
of clients. I have built my practice and customer base up through strong client recommendations due to my
skills, experience and professionalism. Over my career I have developed an outstanding breath of knowledge,
qualifications and industry experience in a number of professional areas.
During my career I have written two successful books on my areas of expertise. I have also worked with many
clients over the years compiling bespoke, precise, and striking Quality, Environmental and Health &
Safety Manuals. This has always been an element of my role and I will now be focusing the business to offer
my skills as a technical author.
This will include ghost writing technical manuscripts as well as Safety Policies, Risk Assessments, Quality
Assurance documentation, HR documentation, and business plans.
I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills meaning I am able to build rapport with business
colleagues and senior management leading to positive and productive professional relationships; ensuring that
the strongest possible results are achieved. As a writer I have a proven track record of taking complex and
often lengthy subject manner and converting it into accessible and robust prose. Being able to understand the
nuances of matters of law, legislation and general business practices allows me to add depth and context to
my written material. I am highly organised and am well practiced in managing conflicting priorities, planning
ahead and working under the pressure of deadlines.
Many years of experience means I have the confidence and skillset to swiftly understand a client brief then
work independently making the right decisions to realise the project. My vast experience within the industry
means I can adapt quickly to new projects, roles and environments adding value to every project I undertake.
