Spring, 2015 Dear Friend, The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito’s Jr. Board for young professionals is planning a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito. We are hosting a fantastic one-of-a-kind wine event called “UNCORKED FOR A CAUSE” presented by Retirement Benefits Group – Uncorked is a contemporary, social, blind wine tasting event with a “twist.” The twist: each team brings three bottles of the same wine; two of which are “tasted” & voted on and the third bottle of wine from each team goes to the winning teams! (1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded) Over 200 people from the San Diego area attend this event. Last year we raised more money than ever before and the winning team walked away with over 60 bottles of wine! Part of the success of this event is the support and donations we receive from community members like you. Please consider joining our family of supporters. In-kind donations of food items, gift certificates for products and services and flat donations have helped secure this event as one of our signature Jr. Board Events. The exact item is up to your discretion and generosity. The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito continue to grow. Our seven branches from Carmel Valley to Encinitas serve more than 7500 children daily through our aquatics, athletic and after school programs and 20,000 annually with the addition of our summer camp, Center for a Healthy Lifestyle, Montessori School and Youth Arts Academy programs. Your help and support allows us to continue to meet the needs of all the children we serve, despite their families’ financial ability.
