Nuclear Medicine A to Z
Plan to attend the Central Chapter Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging’s Annual Spring meeting, March 28‐29, 2015, which is titled “Nuclear Medicine A to Z”. This conference will be held in beautiful Oak Brook, Illinois at the Doubletree Hotel. Spectacular dining and shopping will await you after you join your colleagues for many outstanding lectures which will address current techniques and new concepts. This two day meeting will be presented by exceptional speakers who will bring a wealth of knowledge to attendees with many stimulating topics ranging from radiation accidents, current trends in cardiac imaging, and various new innovative ideas for lowering radiation exposure. A national expert will give an update on new ICD‐10 coding by defining current coding and billing procedures for best financial outcomes. Information regarding clinical management of patients undergoing therapy as well as patient appropriate use criteria will be discussed. Discussions on the clinical application and outcomes for the patients from exciting new procedures that are performed at both large academic facilities and smaller community hospitals will be included. Understanding our new multi‐modality cameras while lowering the radiation exposure from the cameras and for the patients will also be offered. A presentation will also summarize effective pathways to receive payment for services provided for studies by reviewing the steps of scheduling, pre‐certifying and reducing the amount of lost revenue for studies. Sessions on day two will be dedicated to cardiac imaging and how to master EKG for cardiac testing. Don’t miss the chance to learn from the experts on cardiac imaging while challenging your colleagues as attendees use the audience response system to answer questions. The sessions will offer continuing education credits for Technologists, Physicians and Physicists and SAM credits will be applied for. Enjoy the company of your peers while enriching your knowledge base at our premier meeting and enjoy time with friends in a multitude of dining and shopping venues in the evening within walking distance of the hotel.
