STEP 1 – PREPARE DISPOSABLE DISC
STEP 2 – COLLECT BLOOD SAMPLE
•
Remove test disc from pouch and place
on flat surface with label facing up
•
Lift the adhesive flap
Massage finger used for collecting
sample and disinfect the area before
puncture
Place blood lancet near prick site and
press
Wipe the first drop of blood. Collect the
second drop of blood
Place capillary tube near the drop of
blood and allow blood to reach black
indicator lines

STEP 3 – INTRODUCE SAMPLE IN
DISPOSABLE DISC
ATTENTION: Area should be completely dry
and do not squeeze tube as sample is being
collected
STEP 4 – READ DISPOSABLE
DISC USING spinit® INSTRUMENT
•

Insert tube into sample inlet by
gently squeezing upper portion of
capillary tube
Remove adhesive flap protection and
firmly seal the sample inlet
Attention: Entire blood sample should
flow into inlet

Scan barcode from pouch label and
place disc in the instrument
Follow on-screen instructions
Test results will appear on screen
Discard disposable disc
appropriately
