Sandoval Coordinator for Assessment and Planning San Juanita Ramirez Coordinator for Assessment and Planning Joanna Villarreal Evaluator II • A high-performing reward school is identified as a Title I school with distinctions based on reading and math performance, as well as the highest graduation rates at the high school level. For 2014-2015, TEA has identified 192 Texas campuses as highperforming, with 8 campuses identified at Brownsville ISD. Congratulations to Benavides, Breeden, Castañeda, Champion, Gonzalez, Ortiz, Peña, and Yturria. A high-progress reward school is identified as a Title I school in the top 25 percent in annual improvement and/or a school in the top 25 percent of those demonstrating ability to close performance gaps (based on state accountability system safeguards in the 2013-2014 school year). For 2014-2015, TEA has identified 218 Texas campuses as high-progress, 9 campuses have been identified at Brownsville ISD. Congratulations to Benavides, Breeden, Canales, Castañeda, Champion, Gonzalez, Ortiz, Peña, and Yturria. These designations are based on the Accountability results for the 2013-2014 school year.
