Dear Camper,
The face of women’s basketball on the First Coast
has been changing and the competition is getting stronger.
We are so excited about getting the chance to work with you
as you develop as a basketball player.
This camp will offer you the opportunity to improve
all of your skills. The camp will focus on proper shooting
form, dribbling skills and passing skills. We will have skills
competitions, three on three tournaments and lots of fun.
Camp Directors
Coach Vicki Naughton spent over 30 years coaching basketball before retiring. She was chosen by former Athletic
Direction Lou Pereira to start the girls basketball program
at BJS and continues to work with the program today.
Coach Garrett Naughton played high school basketball
here at Bishop Snyder under Coach Lou Periera. He
played 4 years of college ball. 2 years at FSCJ and 2 years at
Barry University in Miami Shores and now plays in the
ABA league. He will bring his vast knowledge of basketball to the camp.

For and in consideration of the child being allowed to participate in
this camp and other valuable consideration, the undersigned parent, guardian or legal representative on behalf of the child and the
child’s parents, personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of
kin do hereby release and hold harmless the Diocese of St.
Augustine; a corporation sole; Bishop Felipe J. Estevez individual;
Bishop John J. Snyder, individual; Bishop John J. Snyder High
School, Coach Naughton’s Basketball Camp; all organizers of this
camp all volunteers, chaperones, employees, and agents of the said
parties; and their personal representatives or assigns from any loss
or damage on account of any injury to the personal or the personal
property of the child, or death caused by negligence or otherwise,
while the said child is engaged in the above-stated camp and any
activities of the camp.
I further authorize any representative of this camp to obtain medical
treatment or my child in the unlikely event of an injury or illness
during this program and I agree to pay any expenses incurred for
such treatment.
Camp Facilities
The camp will be held in the beautiful, air conditioned,
Demetree Gymnasium at Bishop John J. Snyder High School
with court space for up to 4 games at one time. All campers
must wear shorts, T-shirts, and tennis shoes.

The undersigned parent, guardian or legal representative hereby

Coach Naughton’s Basketball Camp and all of its associated activities.
The undersigned expressly agrees that this release waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Florida and that if any portion of
this agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall,
notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. The undersigned parent, guardian or legal representative further acknowledges that he/she is authorize to enter this agreement on behalf of
the child, the child’s parents, personal representatives, assigns, heirs
and next of kin.
