AC – 02 – XXXX: Servo-Hydraulic Actuators
BiSS double ended - double acting servo hydraulic actuators are designed for static and dynamic testing with
robust side load tolerances to provide unmatched strength and durability. These heavy duty force generators
apply equal axial forces in tension and compression with excellent dynamic characteristics. BiSS actuators
incorporate a monolithic piston design with inbuilt digital encoder of 0.1 µ resolution for stroke measurement,
These features make our actuators more reliable with precise control to meet most of the demanding
applications of testing.
Available in wide range of force capacities and stroke, these actuators are easily interfaced with various
transducers, swivels, swivel bases, pedestal mounts, servovalves, manifolds and hydraulic power sources to
ensure consistence test results.

 Superior and reliable force ratings staring from
+/-5 to 3000kN with stroke lengths from +/-25
to +/-500 mm
 Double ended double acting, hydrostatic
bearing actuators with monolithic piston
design to apply equal axial forces in tension
and compression
 Heat treated and hard chrome plated precisely
machined piston rods for smooth operations
 Metric threading on rod end to interface with
various adapters and force transducers
 Coaxially mounted encoders with 0.1 micron
resolution for precise control of displacements
 Hydraulic cushions at either ends provide
accidental damages to end caps
 Servo valve manifolds with oversize ports and
provisions for interfacing to a variety of servo
valves and service manifolds
