STORYTELLING AND DESIGN IN ANIMATION TDGE 126 READER, instructed by Tara Knight Responsible for grading 50-‐100 papers weekly for an undergraduate lecture course covering the broad range in animation styles and how the sound/set/costume/character design impacts narrative. JoAnn Fabric – Portland, OR 2008 COURSE INSTRUCTOR 3-‐hour intermediate sewing class geared towards the basics of garment construction for ages 6-‐9. In the allotted time, students learned to cut and layout a commercial pattern and sew a pair of personalized pajama pants. Many students came to the class with little to no sewing experience. An extensive knowledge of clothing history, fashion trends and international clothing movements are often used to visually tell the story.
