The band from Luxembourg “When 'airy met fairy”
will appear on stage in Tokyo alongside Japanese Indie bands
"When 'airy met fairy" was founded in Luxembourg in 2014 when vocalist Thorunn
Egilsdottir appeared in a tour of TV program "The Voice of Germany". When 'airy met
fairy will hold live shows in Tokyo in June alongside Japanese indie bands.

■When 'airy met fairy Profile
The when ‘airy met fairy is a Luxembourg band founded in 2014 as
singer-songwriter Thorunn Egilsdottir was touring the biggest concert
halls in Germany with the other top ten contestants of the third season
of “The Voice of Germany” singer audition TV show.
The sound of when 'airy met fairy is colored by humming backing
vocals and unpretentious instruments such as the melodica or the
mini piano. Let the freshly baked alternative band crawl under
your skin and take you down deep.
Their first album is set to be released in autumn, 2015. The first single
« Intoxicated » was released in April 2015 through Tourne Disque in
France. Until then when ‘airy met fairy continues to work on new music
videos, as well as playing gigs in France, Germany, Japan and Canada.

Akeboshi ※June 7 : Grapefruit Moon
Akeboshi learned to play the piano when he was three years old, later learning to play
the guitar. Akeboshi started band “Carrier” at the age of 13 and studied music in
the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in the U.K. after graduating high school. His
time there has heavily influenced his music.
In 2002, Akeboshi released his debut mini album “STONED TOWN.” Akeboshi
collaborated with famous Japanese musician Yousui Inoue in the album of "Yellow
Moon," and he produced songs for Matsu Takako (Japanese actress) and Hitoto Yo
(Japanese singer.) In 2014, Akeboshi released his album “After the Rain Clouds Go.”

Kufuki is another project from tobaccojuice's vocalist Toshimasa Matsumoto.
KUFUKI has been regarded as a unique band with the strong originality from Tokyo. Their style is the eclectic fusion of the
Japanese traditional spirit and contemporary electronic dance music, creating a unique elation from this profound atmosphere.
In 2012, KUFUKI released the album “KUFUKI” which has received excellent reviews from numerous Japanese, American and
European music review websites (Bad Alchemy Magazin(Germany), .Loop(Chile), Sound & Recording Magazine(Japan), etc).
Lately KUFUKI has become very active in the international music scene following a series of remixes by Astral Social Club
(UK) and Anla Courtis (Argentina), a live tour in South Korea and interview appearance on Colombian radio.They had
successful tour in Germany,Portugal,U.K.,Korea. KUFUKI have tow regular events in Tokyo."KUFUKI's Big Harvest

neohachi　※June 5 : Grapefruit Moon
"neohachi" is a japanese fancy comical unit.They formed in 2005 in Tokyo by Lily
(*Shigin Vocals) and Elly (Synthesizers).
1st mini album "rhythm of wonder" released In 2008. they formed a special organization
"Neohachi trio" that adds Tatsuhisa Yamamoto and live sessions. In 2012, they released
1st full album "LOVECADIO HEARN"(White Paddy Moutain). In 2013, they played
Korean tour.
Their music processing is done there crack a former Progressive Rock and the German
Rock, it is based on the minimal repeate of hand oparation of the Synthesizers. The song
contains Japanese feeling for nature and that extended explession of vowel makes us
much more imagination of the scene to the people. *Sigin is the recitation of traditional
Chinese poems, and Japanese poems with some of the Japanese artistic expressions．

JULIA
Canadian born father and Japanese mother
At 18, after listening to “Stand by Me” by Ben E King, started singing and
composing original songs. At 22, began modeling for magazines and live fashion
shows, both domestic and international. At 25, continued modeling, singing and
composing,actively appearing in Japanese magazines, TVCM and music festivals.
With a unique soft, husky voice, Julia has sung solo and in chorus on various
commercials, animated shorts and movies.
Recently she sang background solo for the commercial titled “Soft in One“ for
Rohto Pharmaceutical Co,Ltd. Released in May, 2015.
In June 2015, she sang on the soundtrack for the movie, Unimachi Dairy.
She is currently, singing and clubbing live in Tokyo with guitarist Ryo Togawa.
