Mini Pikachu Amigurumi Pattern

Have fun!
Materials
• Yellow, black and brown DK yarn
• Small pieces of red and black felt
• 3.00 mm crochet hook
• Craft glue
• tapestry needle
• Small about of black embroidery yarn
Abbreviations
Rnd: round
st: stitch
sc: single crochet
sl st: slip stitch
inc: increase (crochet twice in same stitch)
dec: decrease (crochet two stitches together)
ch: chain
BLO: work in back loops only
*…*: repeat what is between the *
Size
• With a 3.0mm hook and DK yarn the size is 3.5 inches (9cm) tall. Size can be changed if
you use different hooks and yarns.
• This work is full made in joined rounds.
Head/Body (Yellow)
Rnd 1: 6sc into a magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: *inc in each sc* around (12)
Rnd 3: *sc in next st, inc in next st* around (18)
Rnd 4-5: *sc in each st* around (18)
Rnd 6: sc in next 5 st, inc in next st, sc in next 2 st,
inc in next 2 st, sc in next 2 st, inc in next st, sc in
next 5 st. (22)
Rnd 7: *sc in each st* around (22)
Rnd 8: *sc in next st, dec over next 2 st* 7 times, sc in last st (15)
Rnd 9: *sc in next st, inc in next st* 7 times, sc in last st (22)
Rnd 10-13: *sc in each st* around (22)
• Stop for a while. Now it’s a good time to embroider nose and mouth. Follow the
pictures bellow for that.

Rnd 14: *sc in next st, dec over next 2 st* 7 times, sc in last st (15)
• Do not stuff too much.
Rnd 15: Working in BLO only: *dec over next 2 st* around (7)
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Arms (Make 2 - yellow)
Rnd 1: 4sc into a magic ring (4)
Rnd 2-3: *sc in each st* around (4)
Fasten off. Leave tail for sewing later.
Ears (Make 2)
• Start with Black.
Rnd 1: 3sc into a magic ring (3)
Rnd 2: *sc in each st* around (3)
• Switch to yellow
Rnd 3: sc in next st, inc in next st, sc in next st (4)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 st, inc in next st, sc in next st (5)
Rnd 5-7: *sc in each st* around (5)
Finish off. Leave tail for sewing later.
Foot (make 2 - yellow)
Rnd 1: 4sc into a magic ring (4)
Rnd 2: sc in each st around (4)
Finish off. Leave tail for sewing later.
Tail (Make 2 pieces)
• Start with brown
Rnd 1: ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, ch 1, turn (3)
Rnd 2: sc in next 3 st, ch 3, turn (3 sc and 3 chains)
Rnd 3: sc in 2nd chain from hook, sc in next ch, sc in next 2 st, ch
1 turn (4)
Rnd 4: sc in next 4 st, change to yellow in last st, ch 4 turn (4

together for make a more firmly tail.

Finishing
• Pin every thing together before you sew, so you won’t make it wrong!
• Sew ears between Rnds 2 and 4 from head/body.
• Sew arms between Rnds 7-10 from head/body.
• Embroider the brown stripes on pikachu’s back.
• Sew tail on pikachu’s back/bottom.
• You can sew legs right under the body or a little bit above to make
Pikachu standing or sitting.
Sitting
Standing
• Cut two little circles of black felt and two little circles, but a little bigger, of red felt.
Paint a white dot on the black circles. Glue the four circles on head.
