COPPELL, Texas – March 20, 2015 - Taylor's Gift Foundation, a national foundation dedicated to
increasing awareness and registrations for organ donation, announced today the selection of Emily
Allbright as its new Executive Director. The selection was made after a regional search and selection
process where Allbright interviewed with the Foundation’s co-founders Todd and Tara Storch and their
board of directors.
“We are very pleased to announce this position,” said Todd Storch, Board Chair and co-founder. “Emily
will bring extensive non-profit experience and creativity to Taylor’s Gift’s programs and a deep sense of
commitment to our mission.”
Allbright has more than 14 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, fundraising,
volunteer development and event management. As Executive Director, Allbright will be responsible for
fundraising, advocacy, outreach, volunteer development, overseeing day-to-day operations and
supporting the Board of Directors with the foundation's vital mission.
“The Foundation is having wonderful momentum, so it was time to go to the next level with hiring an
Executive Director,” said Tara Storch.
The foundation began in 2010 after Todd and Tara Storch’s 13year-old daughter, Taylor, died in a snow-skiing accident. In the
past five years, Taylor's Gift has made an incredible impact on
organ donation awareness and has a national footprint supporting
Donate Life Texas and other state registries. Taylor’s Gift supports
and promotes official Donate Life organ donor registrations in the
United States.
Emily is a Dallas native and earned a bachelor's degree in social
work from Texas Christian University and a master's degree in
social work from The University of Texas at Arlington. She resides
in Frisco with her husband Greg and son James.
“I am honored and excited to join Taylor's Gift Foundation as its
Executive Director as we continue to promote our important
mission and educate the community about organ donation,” said Allbright. “I look forward to working with
the team, volunteers, Board of Directors and generous contributors as we grow and expand our
programs.”
“Taylor’s Gift momentum has propelled the foundation into the national spotlight,” said Dina ConteSchulz, Taylor’s Gift Board Member. “Emily’s experience working with large non-profits and creating
development initiatives will help us reach our goals to support organ donation awareness, fund our
Legacy Gift and Scholarship programs.”
