At Blue Tit, we believe that in the world of hair, knowledge is
power, and we have a passion to share that knowledge.
Our thinking and approach comes from being situated in London’s
most fashion driven areas and our exposure to the most current
trends and styles.
Our experience comes from seasoned involvement in fashion
magazines, fashion labels and showcasing in hair shows and
seminars, both in the UK and internationally.
Our objective is to train you in a calming environment with no
complacency. We are very attentive in our training and want you
to not only excel in the relevant, modern techniques and our
forward thinking approach, but to inspire you creatively through
our devotion and culture.

CUT THE BLUE TIT CLASSICS
Our foundation is broken down into three primary shapes:
circle, triangle and square. These are combined with three
techniques: line, layers and graduation, to create our 9 Blue
Tit classic haircuts.
The Blue Tit salon foundation course will teach you the
dynamics of these shapes and allow you to excel in the basic
fundamentals of cutting hair.
Ultimately, this gives you the knowledge and skills that will
allow you to progress in your craft.
Our teaching is based on our understanding of being logical
with the hair. We don’t just want to show you what shapes to
do, we want to show you our logic in tailor making the shape.
This enables you to make the right decisions for your shape
and ultimately the client.

CREATIVE REALITY
After understanding the fundamentals, it is important to
progress within your craft and continue to understand new
shapes and techniques.
The Blue Tit creative course focuses on advanced techniques
to create creative hair cuts that are actually wearable and
convertible in your day to day salon life.
This is led by a focus on style and facial features, creating
unique haircuts by combining shapes that enhance rather than
detract from the whole look.

Learn the most current men’s styles from London’s most
fashion driven areas.
The Blue Tit Barbering course will provide you with the most
up to date looks and techniques in men’s haircutting. This
ultimately allows you to provide the most in demand looks in
London and keep your repertoire fresh.

COLOUR THE BLUE TIT
CLASSICS
In this course you will learn how to apply tints and highlights
to achieve a neat and even colour result.
The start of any colour service is a profound understanding of
the theory of colour.

FLAMBOYAGE: AND HOW YOU
GET IT STARTED
Flamboyage is an innovative technique that allows you
to create beautiful colour fades, using a special type of
transparent sticky foil invented by Davines. Results can
range from soft and natural to strong and eccentric. Our
focus in this course is to have a very natural looking fade of
multiple colours.
