The following are extracts from the Show Society Schedule which will be of interest to Students of all ages. It includes all the Junior Classes from the various sections of the Show. The Junior Show Committee want to encourage Students of all ages to exhibit in our Show. All entries are free to Students, except for the Horse Events. Should you want further information on any of the Sections, please obtain the full version of the Show Schedule from local businesses or the Show Society Office on 5463 1124 or check out the Show Society Web Page on www.boonahshowsociety.org.au The Junior Show Committee are Students from the Boonah High School. They appoint Junior Stewards to work in all Sections of the Boonah Show, assisting the Show Society Stewards on both Friday & Saturday of the Show. They also run the Junior Young Farmers Challenge on the Friday Night. The Students have input into the Show Program. They hold regular meetings in their lunch breaks at School. Their Executive attend the Show Committee Meetings . ADMISSION, MEMBERSHIP AND PRIVILEGES Management and Committee Members are nominated members of the Show Society. Members subscription for the Boonah Show Society Inc is $20-00 per person per year. Upon production of their Membership ticket, members are entitled to free gate admission to the Show on all days. A copy of these rules is available from the Show Society Secretary or at the Nomination Box. No persons other than those in charge of a horse are allowed in the arena. All horses must be led from the shoulder. If required, MEASURING of horses may take place between 7.30 am 8.30 am on concrete measuring block next to the Nomination box. It is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of competitors to present their horses in time for their classes. The Committee reserves the right to change the order of the classes before or during the show. It is the responsibility of the competitor to be aware of such changes. Competitors and horses compete at their own risk. The organizing committee accepts no responsibility for injury, loss or damage. Registration papers, membership cards and amateur owner permits MUST be produced on request to the Show Secretary. There will be NO refund of entry fees. POINTS: It is the responsibility of the competitors to ensure that the correct details are supplied to the Show Secretary upon nomination.
