June 9, 2015 OFFICIAL PRESS STATEMENT – MUSASHi BOON SIEW HONDA RACING TEAM This press statement is to update on the condition of our rider, Muhammad Zamri Baba who was injured at the Sentul International Circuit on June 7, 2015. Zamri was successfully transferred to the SILOAM KARAWACI Medical Facility at 5:00pm WIB yesterday by the Medi Evac team, and supervised by Dr. Steven Antonius, the Chief Medical Officer of the Sentul Circuit. At present, Zamri is still in a coma but his condition is stable. He is in the Intensive Care Unit under the care of Prof. Dr. Eka Julianta Whajoepramono. Prof. Dr. Eka and his team are the top neurosurgeon teams in Indonesia. Zamri’s family has been flown in to be with him and they have been briefed on his condition. Team are evaluating and making arrangements to fly back Zamri when they receive the approval on his medical condition. On behalf of Zamri’s family, the team would like to thank everyone for their prayers and concern. However, we plead to everyone to wait for the official statements before sharing or publishing unconfirmed reports. The team would also like to thank Two Wheels Motor Racing (TWMR), Astro Honda Indonesia, Sentul Circuit and Ananda Mikola and all friends that has helped and prayed for Zamri.
