Whether you’re taking part in Studio Three or Studio Four, the summer promises much excitement. We are particularly pleased to welcome back Mary Guaraldi as director for Studio Three. Mary’s talented direction, energy and professionalism promise to bring Studio Three an even greater hit with Thoroughly Modern Millie JR! A professional staff of Boston’s best designers and technicians will be staging the shows this year—coupled with your talent and hard work, the shows are sure to be incredible! We’d also like to draw your attention to the additional programs we offer during the summer, as they can truly complement the Summer Studio experience. For those of you interested in more one-on-one coaching in voice or acting, we encourage you to sign up for the Private Studios with one of our talented instructors. We’d also like to remind you of the convenience of our lunch and bus programs in collaboration with Shore Country Day. You’ll find more information in these pages. The first day of the program is dedicated to student orientation and specific audition/callbacks for the show. On the second day of the program the cast list will be announced, and rehearsals and classes will begin. I would like to begin/continue taking private voice or acting lessons this summer. How can I do that? Private voice and acting lessons will be offered on site this summer. We’ve included the list of private voice/acting instructors for the summer and information on how to begin/continue lessons with them. I’d like to spread the world about other BCT Academy programs. Where can I find information about them? Visit www.bostonchildrenstheatre.org for information on all of our classes. What should I bring to the program? Please bring: a note pad and pencil to take notes, a recording device for music rehearsals, a water bottle, clothes for dance classes, jazz shoes if you have them, snacks and remember your lunch! (Unless you’re signed up for the lunch program.) Please be sure to bring your audition materials to the first day of the program. What Master Classes will be offered this summer? Do I have to pay extra to take part in the Master Classes? Master Classes are included in your summer tuition and will be held weekly on Fridays. Master Classes will be announced the first day of the program. Page 5 PRIVATE ACTING & VOCAL STUDY Private voice and acting lessons will be offered at the Shore Country Day School this summer during both Studio Three and Studio Four.
