Studio Four is an intensive pre-professional training
program for students interested in the profession of
musical theater. This five-week program will include
master classes taught by professional Broadway
actors, workshops led by experienced educators and
rehearsals for full-scale musical productions.
Each morning, Monday through Friday, students
take intensive classes in acting, dance, and
musical theatre performance. The afternoons
are dedicated to rehearsals for main stage
productions held the final weekend of the program.
Technical rehearsals will take place during the final
two weekends of the program, and performances will
be held on Saturdays and Sundays as well. Shows will
be performed in rotating repertory the final weekend
of the program.
A shuttle from the Boston Children’s Theatre in
downtown Boston will be available to all students with
advanced sign-up.
“BCT gave me the most crucial tools in
preparing for college: training, experience, and support. I was trained in
singing and acting and exposed to the
expectations of professional auditions
and rehearsals.

Studio Two gives our young students a chance to improve
their knowledge of theatre while putting together a
workshop production of a 30-minute musical. Children will
learn everything from the basics of working with a script to
preparing for a production.
Boston
Children’s
Theatre’s
professional

theatre skills and terminology such as stage directions,
improvisation
and
character
development.
This
fun
and interactive program is great for beginners as well
as children who have been in productions before.
On the last day of the program, family and friends are

Studio One is geared toward four to seven-year-olds
as an introduction to creative play. During this one-week
class, students will play a variety of games focusing on
expression, imagination, and individuality. Each day,
the children will explore a different theme (i.e. animals,
friendship, travel) through drama, music and crafts.
The end of each week features a sharing session and
performance for friends and family.
