Parade Information
Thank you for participating in this years Bragg Creek Days Parade!
You are a guest of the Bragg Creek Days Parade Committee and we hope that you will
have a day full of fun and fond memories!
To assist us in operating in an efficient and safe manner, we ask that you follow these
guidelines:
•
PARADE BEGINS AT 10:30 AM, SATURDAY JULY 18
•
Entries are asked to line up between 9:00 - 9:45 A. M. Please check in at our
“check in table” at the beginning of River Drive South (start on the map) where
you register your float number and are directed to your spot. Every float will be
emailed a position number one weeks prior to the event.
•
Your float will be judged before the parade starts, so we need to provide ample
time for the judges to make a fair assessment of each entrance and do their
award presentations. The winning floats can display their awards during the
Parade. Good Luck!
•
We ask that you use all due caution with your float to ensure the safety of all
participants, both on and off your float. Only participants between the ages of 5 –
65 years of age are permitted to walk the parade route. Please remember that
your vehicle and float need to be adequately insured. This is your responsibility
and you should check with your own insurance broker.
•
We ask that you show due consideration and respect to your audience along the
parade route. If you are distributing candy or other items “to the crowd”, please
“throw” with care.
•
Water guns and hoses are prohibited due to safety reasons.

Bragg Creek Days Parade 2015 WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the activities of Bragg Creek
Community Association, (the “BCCA”) during Bragg Creek Days 2015 the undersigned
acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees with the BCCA that:
The risk of injury from the activities involved, is significant, including the potential for
permanent paralysis and death; I knowingly and freely assume all risks in relation to my
participation in such activities, both known and unknown, even if arising from the
negligence of the Releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation;
and I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for
participation. If however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence
or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of
the nearest official immediately; and I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns,
personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless the
BCCA and their respective agents, servants, employees, directors and officers
(collectively, the “Releasees”) with respect to any and all claims, demands, causes of
action which are in any way connected with my involvement or participation in such
activities, whether caused or contributed to be the negligence of the Releasees or
otherwise.
I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT,
FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIVE
RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT
INDUCEMENT AS OF THE ___________ DAY OF ________________, 2015.
