CNADC COGNITIVE NEUROLOGY AND ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE CENTER of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine CALL FOR ABSTRACTS 21ST ANNUAL ALZHEIMER DAY THURSDAY, MAY 7, 2015, 11:30AM-4:00PM Keynote Speaker: Keith A. Johnson, MD Professor of Radiology and Neurology Harvard Medical School The Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Center invites Northwestern University members conducting research in Aging, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Other Dementias and related Neurosciences to submit an abstract to participate in the Alzheimer Day scientific poster session. Categories for poster submission include: 1) Cell & Molecular Biology, 2) Pharmacology, 3) Physiology, 4) Neuroanatomy, 5) Neuroscience, 6) Clinicopathologic Studies, 7) Social and Behavioral Sciences, 8) Health Services, and 9) Clinical Best Practices. The Marie and Carl Duncan Prize for research in memory disorders will be presented to the researcher with the most meritorious contribution relevant to memory. The winner will receive a certificate of award and $250. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: • Abstract text should detail purpose, methodology, and findings • Abstract text should include 1-2 sentences about the practical implications of the findings for patients, caregivers, community based organizations, public health policy makers, or anyone whose background is not research but who is interested in the application and translation of your research findings • Contact information requested for first author The audience for Alzheimer Day is very diverse. You will be presenting your poster to academics as well as patients, caregivers, service providers, healthcare practitioners, and the general community.
