Students will learn basic geology, about minerals, rocks, and fossils,

SDSM&T- To the 3rd Dimension and Beyond! Mechanical
Engineering in the New World Spend the week with the School of
Mines Mechanical Engineering department getting hands on
experience with 3-D printing technology. Students will design a
product from concept to prototype using computer-aided design and
produce a finished product on our state-of the art 3-D printers.
SDSM&T FOSSILS: The Path of the Paleontologist
Students into paleontology enough to work in the field alongside
professors and graduate students, and roll up your sleeves as you
prep, collect, mold, and cast fossils for examination in the lab.
SDSM&T ROBOTICS CAMP
Come to this camp and spend the week in intensive team projects as
you work with faculty members and students on the Mines Robotics
Team.
SDSM&T Chemical and Biological Engineering Institute
Students will learn chemical process design, how to convert biomass
into products, biofuels, biopharmaceuticals, other bio-based
products, chocolate processing for consumption, biomedical
engineering and biomaterials.
SDSM&T Mining and Explosives Engineering Institute
Students will learn about the science behind explosives, learn how
engineers apply explosive force to break rock to unearth precious
minerals from the ground, explore the world of math, physics, and
chemistry through explosives, and be given a safe, close and personal
view of mining and explosives engineering by trained explosives
experts.

SDSU AEROSPACE CAREER & EDUCATION
CAMP
At the camp students will receive two hours
of flight and ground training, get behind the
controls of an aircraft, build and launch air
rockets, look into the workings of a jet engine,
explore an F-16 fighter jet, and visit with
