Sending your child away to camp
for any length of time can be nervewrecking for some, especially if the
child is living with a chronic illness. At
Brigadoon, parents can find comfort
in knowing there are full time medical
staff on site for all of our programs
and our counsellors are trained on
the conditions and challenges of their
campers at the start of each camp. A
week at Brigadoon is a week your child
or youth will cherish and never forget!

Partner Post: March is Childhood Arthritis Awareness Month. . .
...Which means it’s a wonderful time to discuss Camp JoinTogether with our
supporters! Camp JoinTogether means so much to children with arthritis.
Recently, 17-year-old Taylor MacDonald shared her story of how life is for her
as a teen with arthritis through a national conference call discussion, and was
also featured in a CTV Atlantic segment. Taylor credits Camp JoinTogether
with helping her realize that she wasn’t alone as a young person coping with the
disease and inspired her to help other young people coping with the physical
and emotional effects of arthritis. Way to go, Taylor!
