TEAM Policies
1. Physicals and Fees MUST be turned in before you can
PRACTICE/PARTICIPATE.
2. Daily practice will begin at 3:20. BE ON TIME!!!
3. Equipment and team uniforms will be issued to everyone. Issued gear is the ONLY
acceptable gear that will be noticeable as the outer layer of clothing at meets.
You are TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE for all equipment that you are issued. You
will not be eligible for post-season honors (lettering, outstanding athlete, etc.) and/or
will not receive grades/transcripts until all of your equipment is accounted for.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR EQUIPMENT!
4. Jewelry (except timing devices) of any kind will not be worn during practice. This
includes earrings. NO JEWELRY (watches are ok) will be worn during meets.
5. There will be NO SPIKES worn in the building.
6. There will be NO SWEARING at any time (practice, on the bus, meets). NONE!
7. PRACTICE: All participants are expected to attend all practices. Three unexcused
absences will result in suspension from the team. Participants are also expected to
be at practice on time, and must have TEN practices in prior to their first meet.
1st unexcused absence: miss the next meet.
2nd unexcused absence: miss the next meet and conversation with your parents.
3rd unexcused absence: suspension from the team.
8. All absences and tardies must be excused in advance through Coach Weik.

All late arrivals need to check in with Coach Weik FIRST. DO NOT ask your
position coach to convey the message.
9. The COACHES will make the final decisions on what events you participate. The
best interest of YOU and the TEAM will be important factors.

11. All fees are due before an athlete will be able to compete in any meets. If you are
unable to afford the cost of track please see Nancy in the Activities Office (room
110). All fees can be paid in the Activities Office or online at PaySchools found on
