Brother Rice is providing an opportunity for
youth football teams to participate in a 7 on
7 youth shoot out. This is a unique way for
coaches to work with their players during the
off season. Our goal is to provide you with the
opportunity to “teach” and “coach” your team
in an open forum with your staff, while at the
same time providing a safe, competitive, and
fun experience for your team.

All participating teams may have no fewer
than ten (10) players. However, it is suggested
to have at least fifteen (15) players. This is to
allow you the freedom of substitutions and
overall depth over a 3-4 game schedule.
• Teams must provide their
own footballs
• Playing surface will be field
turf & grass. Please bring cleats.
• No Helmets are required
• Please bring your own lunch
• Space is limited
Camp Medical Coverage:
Medical Forms for each participant must be
turned in at registration. They will be sent to
your program in advance upon receiving your
registration form and payment.

Rules & Guidelines
Each team will have 15 minutes on
offense, 15 minutes on defense, and a 5
minute halftime.
A coin flip to determine initial possession
will be held before each game. Teams
must be at field site (5) minutes prior to
game time.

• The ball is dead with a one hand touch
(no contact).
• NO running plays.
• NO team time outs (Officials only)
• Offensive Center is not an eligible receiver
(Teams should have a center or begin
each play with a snap).
• All fumbles and interceptions are
immediately dead.
• The passer has 4 seconds to throw (5
seconds for a bootleg). An official will
determine a “coverage sack”
• No Kicking
• Each series will start from the 40 yard
line. The ball will be returned to the 40 yard
line after each play.
General Scoring System
TM
Offense:
5+ yard completion = 1 point
20+ yard completion = 2 points
Touchdown = 3 points
1-4 yard completion = 0 points
Defense:
Incomplete Pass = 1 point
Coverage Sack = 2 points
Interception = 3 points
