Memorial Golf Outing
& Charity Fundraiser

Bruce’s Par for the Cause memorial golf outing and charity fundraiser!
The event will be held at the beautiful Reading Country Club in Reading,
Pennsylvania. Bruce was a long-time member of the historic country club
making it the perfect setting for our event. Not to mention they have the
honor of being awarded the “Best of Berks” prize for best public golf course
for 2014!
The Nichol Family is excited to support the Children’s Hospital of
Philadelphia (CHOP) in the Inaugural year of Bruce’s Par for the Cause.
Proceeds from the event will support Hemophilia programs at CHOP
including patient support, education and research.
Founded in 1855, CHOP was the first children’s hospital in the United
States and now serves more children than any other pediatric facility in
the nation. From its very beginning, philanthropy has played a pivotal
role in CHOP’s success.
Bruce’s Par for the Cause is an exciting opportunity to
support The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and its
hemophilia programs, as well as promote your business.

Our Mission: Our purpose for organizing this event is first and foremost to celebrate the life of Bruce Nichol, husband,
father, brother, friend, 12(ish?) handicap golfer. Secondly, and equally as important, we will be raising awareness and
support for hemophilia programs at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia including patient support, education & research
as a way to make sure Bruce’s selfless spirit live on in each and every one of us.
He lived his life to the fullest, his glass was perpetually half full, and was always quick to offer a hand to those in need.

This is a 4-person best-ball scramble, memorial golf outing, and charity
fundraiser benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and more
specifically hemophilia programs at CHOP Patient Support, Education
& Research.
