WHAT IS ALL JUNIOR?
This is a competition for swimmers aged 14 & Under (at 22 nd March 2015) where swimmers enter the
qualifying meet in their district, and if selected they are then eligible to compete at the Semi-Finals at
Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre in March. If they make the finals they then swim in the All Junior Finals
on Sunday 23rd March.
Swimmers do not need to be members of a club, and all unregistered swimmers are eligible, if successful
to proceed all the way through to the finals. Barwon South West District is a Country district so we compete
at All Junior against other country swimmers (there is a separate Metro All Junior for metropolitan
swimmers).
15/Over swimmers welcome to participate. There are no awards for these
events but the times will be official.
HOW DO YOU GET TO THE ALL JUNIOR SEMI-FINALS?
The district completes entries for the Semi-finals so once you have entered the event on 28th February 2015
and submitted an availability form, you will be entered automatically if you win a semi-finalist patch. All patch
winners may proceed to Melbourne for the Semi-finals. If you make a final at All Junior you will receive a
Finalist patch for each event you make a final in, and if you finish in the top 3 you will win an All Junior medal.
ENTRY CONDITIONS & INFORMATION
1.
Unregistered and non-competitor registered swimmers may enter.
2.
Entries can be On-line, via TM file or SV Entry form accompanied by correct entry fees (No credit cards
accepted). For un-registered swimmers ONLY there is a special entry form available. Some should be
displayed with this poster. Email Vivienne Kennedy on [email protected] if you require a form
or to submit TM entries. Scanned and emailed entry forms can only be accepted if you use direct
deposit and provide a copy of your deposit receipt.

Entries with payment close 20th February 2015 Cheques payable to BSWSA. Send entries to
Entry Secretary PO Box 6213 HIGHTON Vic 3216.

Payment by Direct Deposit: When mailing entries, or sending TM file you can deposit funds directly.
In this case a copy of the banking receipt must be provided when entries are lodged. Payment
Reference should be AJ plus surname (for family entries) or AJ and name of club (for team entries).

This year the first 10 Victorian swimmers in All Junior events will qualify to contest ALL JUNIOR SEMIFINALS at MSAC on 22nd March.
6.
MULTI-CLASS – Events conducted at the end of each stroke are for any age MC athlete, however
only 14/Under athletes can proceed to Melbourne All Junior Semi-Finals.
7.
Semi-Finalist “sew-on” flashes will be awarded to the first 10 swimmers in eligible events (14/Under).
8.
To be selected for ALL JUNIOR SEMI FINALS ALL Swimmers must complete and lodge an
availability form for ALL JUNIOR Semi-Finals in Melbourne. Names will not be submitted if a form is
not completed and lodged.
