A sharp performance –
The SABANA guide to needle classification
The designations of our atraumatic needle and suture sets
are composed of a combination of letters and numbers.
The first letter designates the shape of the needle, while
the second letter stands for the type of needle. If these
are followed by third and fourth letters, the latter refer to
special features of the needle. The number following the
letters indicates the length of the needle in extended form
in millimeters.
