2015 Scholarship
The Baldwin-Whitehall Friends of the Theater Arts (BWFTA) is a non-profit organization
that is focused on providing an exceptional theater arts environment for its community and
most importantly the students of the Baldwin-Whitehall School District.
$1,000 scholarship will be awarded to two Baldwin High School senior students for the first
year of undergraduate study determined by a random drawing of all applicants.
Scholarship Criteria: The recipient of the BWFTA scholarship is restricted to those
students in the 2015 graduating class of Baldwin High School:




with a two year minimum participation in one of the facets of the Baldwin High
School theater arts program (fall play, spring musical, orchestra pit, set design,
sound/lighting design, choreography)
a 3.0 or above GPA
Drama Club member
Acceptance to a four year college/university
The application, essays, proof of acceptance to a four year college/university, and two
references must be completed and returned to the address below by the deadline of April
30, 2015. You may attach additional sheets of paper if necessary. The scholarship
committee will contact the guidance office to confirm your GPA of 3.0 or above. Incomplete
or late applications will not be considered. Questions may be addressed to
