Situated on the beautiful banks of the River Cart, Paisley is Scotland’s biggest
town. Only 7 miles west of Glasgow, it boasts a fascinating heritage, as well as
some truly wonderful Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Paisley has always
been an entrepreneurial town, rich and diverse in its culture. Paisley Abbey, the
birthplace of the Royal Stewarts, stands proud in all its architectural magnificence
in the town centre. Built in the 12th Century, it is one of Scotland’s finest churches
