PP 5 Point Star in circle and square 5 point #2 To easily make this block: 1. Paper piece the star and the circle 2. Piece the 4 patch background. 3. Sew the completed PP star and circle, RST, to a piece of light to medium weight sew-in interfacing. 4. Sew all the way around the circle, using a 1/4" seam. 5. Carefully, cut a 3" slit JUST through the interfacing in the center of the circle. 6. Turn the circle right side out through the cut hole in the interfacing. 7. Press, making sure that none of the white from the interfacing shows on the around the circle. 8. Sew to the 4 patch block with your favorite technique: needleturn, satin stitch, or with a blind stitch, using monofiliment thread (my favorite). © 2014 The Pattern Factory [email protected] Pattern for "PP 5 Point Star in circle and square 5 point #2" as 4.000 by 4.000 (inches) block, printed from EQ7!
